This page is a "history" of the bikes we've done. Since it will hopefully keep growing, I've arranged it so the latest bikes are at the top, that way when you check back you don't have to scroll the whole way down to see what's new. Hey, never say I didn't do anything for you... If you want to pick out your next ride, check out the PRODUCTS page.

I had to dig a lot of these pics up from our backup files, other pics I took if someone dropped by on their bike again. Also, I haven't included bikes currently being built, bikes we've had in for restoration, frames/rolling chassis we've done, or just paint...

ErinGoblin

After Craig saw the new Goblin, he decided to surprise his wife with one. When he said he wanted a "wild" paintjob, he meant meant it literally.

Shreve Shreve2

Steve was a salesman that stopped by Savage Cycles one day. He caught a glimpse of our first Goblin and said "Man, I've got to have one of those!" Now he does.

Linex1 Linex2

This one-off custom is based on our Jackal frame. The customer wanted something that looked like it could survive the Apocalypse. Coated with Line-X (thanks to the guys at Global, here in Frostburg), it already looks like it's bullet proof.

Linex3 Linex4
Feraud1 Feraud2

A Big Bear Devil's Advocate built for Vincent Feraud. Again, our photography skills cannot do this bike justice.

Feraud3
ViolatorV1 ViolatorV3

One of our customers wanted a Violator built around a V-Rod motor, which lead to this ViolatorV one-off custom with more hand fabricated parts than you can shake a stick at.

ViolatorV2 ViolatorV4
Goblin 1

Sean's Buell became the donor bike for our first Goblin.

Goblin 2
Clark

This is a Headhunter that the customer was so anxious to pick up we weren't able to get decent pics of it. Wicked paintjob on this bad boy!

Clark 2
Roland1 Roland2

Not the first bike to be picked up in the rain, Wayne Roland rode away on this Big Bear Sled beauty during summer storms here in Western Maryland.

Roland3 Roland4
Jackal 1

Savage Jackal built for Jamie Cowfer. She wanted a nice, clean looking custom, with subtle graphics, which translates into this sweet looking steed.

Jackal 2
Nationwide 1

Nationwide themed Violator hardtail built for Nationwide agent Craig Knippenberg. This bike went on the 2006 NASCAR circuit. Many, many custom parts on this puppy, including a hidden DVD player in the gas tank.

Nationwide 2
Ferner1 Skull 27

Hopefully we'll acquire some better pics of this Savage Jackal the boys built for a customer. It was raining the day they came to pick it up though, so what you see is what you get...

Skull 28 Skull29

Savage Cycles Violator X (for Xtreme). This puppy was built by the boys and appeared in the December '06 issue of BikerBeauties Magazine. Needless to say, it sold quickly...

Ferner1 Ferner2

John Ferner loves the traditional street-rod look, and he wanted a Big Bear Venom built with that in mind. Black, chrome and sporting the traditional flames, it's a classic...

Flames40
Reams1 Reams2

Big Bear Choppers Sled built for Brian Reams. This thing is so long and low, it's like riding a magic carpet... A loud, aggressive magic carpet.

Reams3 Reams4
Shriver1 Shriver2

This Veteran themed Big Bear Venom Chopper was built for Ed Shriver. It doesn't hardly get any more patriotic than this.

Shriver3 Shriver4
Shriver5 Shriver6
Royce1 Royce2

Royce O'Baker wanted a clean looking chopper to match his car, so we built this Violator for him. So much for the car...

Royce3 Royce4
Royce5 Royce6
Byrne1 Byrne2

This Big Bear Devil's Advocate Pro-Street was built for Mike Byrne while he was in Afghanistan.

Byrne3 Byrne4
Nicole1 Nicole2

Nicole Jackson's Savage Jackal has a unique flair, and manages to look aggressive and feminine at the same time.

Nicole3 Nicole4
RustyT1 RustyT2

Rusty Taylor braved the cold to pick up his Violator, which sported a 300 rear tire with right side drive. Violators are not for the weak...

RustyT3
Reffo2 Reffo1

Big Bear Venom built for Mike Reffo. Just a good, clean, custom look...

Reffo3 Reffo4
JMetcalf

Jack Metcalf brought us a Sportster that he wanted to turn into a fat tire bike. This was a prime opportunity for us to bring out the fourth bike in the Savage Cycles stable, the Savage Jackal.

Lombardi1

This Big Bear Venom was built for Keith Lombardi. When he picked it up, he said "@#$! That @#$!ing thing looks @#$! good! @#$! Look at that @#$!ing bike! @#$!"

Webmasters note: Quote has been edited for a family format.

Don1 Don2

The first Big Bear Merc we built for a customer. Don had us make some custom handlebars and a chain sissy-bar for it. Flat-black and bad to the core.

Don3
Buddy1 Buddy2

Buddy had us do some nice fabrication to this Big Bear Venom Pro-Street. When he requested the paint job, he just said "Evil"... now he's got Satan by the horns.

Luke1 Luke2

Luke had us build this Venom Chopper for him and his wife... Actually, she got a new car.

Lowell7 Lowell8

Lowell Wright flew in from Minnesota, picked up his Big Bear Venom Chopper and rode it home. 62 years old and still biking hard. Gotta' love that!

Lowell9 Lowell10
Hall1 Hall2

Here's Kevin Hall's Big Bear Venom Pro-Street. Unless you see it in person, you really miss out on how nice this bike really is.

Jahn1

Believe it or not, this is actually a Big Bear Venom Pro-Street. This is the bike Barry had built for his wife Lisa and we did some extensive fabrication to it... What a sweet ride!

Billy1 Billy2

Billy and Wendy Atkinson asked us if we could build a Jack Daniels themed bike for them, and here it is. We rushed to finish it in time to go to Beast of the East 2005 and it paid off. Best of Show and Peoples Choice. It's based on our Savage Headhunter frame and features extensive fabrication. This is what custom bike building is all about.

Billy3
Jahn1 Grafix10a

The 3D effect of this paint job and the subtle tribal graphics really set off this Big Bear Venom Pro-Street for Rich Jahn.

Grafix10b
HH5 HH6

Here's the first Savage Cycles bike, the Savage Headhunter. We had another frame design prior to this (the Violator actually), but this is the one that finished out first. Yep, this marks the start of our own frames coming into existance.

HH1 HH2
HH3 HH4
Vincent1 Grafix18

Vincent Price (not the Vincent Price... trust me, the Vincent Price never spent nearly as much time in the gym) had this beautiful Big Bear Venom Pro-Street built. He picked the color scheme and it turned out great.

Vincent2 Grafix19
JohnD1 JohnD2

John Depoulis had this Big Bear Reaper built and he wanted to carry the flame theme over to the fabrication, thus was born the Savage Flaming Fenders o' Death.

JohnD3

Ok, here's my first swing and a miss. We built a Venom Pro-Street (black with purple ghost flames) for Pantone, but somehow it escaped without getting any pics... Whoops.

McG1 McG2

This Big Bear Reaper was the first bike we built for Barry. He enjoyed it so much, he later decided to have another bike built for his wife Lisa.

McG3
Karelli1 Karelli2

Karelli's Big Bear Venom Pro-Street was next in line. Jason probably wins the award for most miles on his bike. Now here's a dude that's not afraid to ride.

Skull10 Flames28
HLK HLK1

Garry Duke's Hulk themed Venom Pro-Street made V-Twin magazine in August of 2004. This bike really demonstrates how doing everything in-house can help pull a theme together.

HLK2 HLK3
RED RED1

This was the first bike we built that made a major magazine. We did quite a bit o' fabrication to this Big Bear Venom build for Rick Chucci and it ended up in the July 2004 issue of V-Twin.

RED2 RED3
RED4 RED5
Chad1 Chad2

Here's the story on this bike. It was built as a giveaway bike for Strut-Your-Stuff's charity drive. It was won by a gent in WV who, it turns out, didn't really want the bike (I know... I know). It was purchased by another dude who now has it for sale (he'd rather race his high-dollar Banshee). So far, it's never had tags on it!!

Tony1 Tony2

Tony was the first person who had faith in our abilities and he drove away on this Spider themed Big Bear Reaper chopper. Our first customer, and our first friend.

Goliath 1

Well, this is the bike that started it all for us. We had been doing custom paint for years as Savage Grafix, had built street rods, muscle cars, race cars, frame up restorations, and a bunch of other stuff we can't hardly remember, but never a motorcycle. Sean wanted to try one so a Goliath kit was purchased from Custom Chrome and away we went...
